Using Thrift Store China
How many times have you been thrift store shopping and passed up all the vintage china for sale? Thankfully there is a cool new vibe and Granny chic table decor is hot again. The best part is the budget friendly price you can find entire place settings for.
Don’t make a fuss about it
When using vintage china the idea is not to be so rigid about the place setting details. I think that’s what throws everyone and the reason many don’t like to use beautiful old china on a regular basis-It’s china right? It might break right? Probably, but there is so much of it to be found in thrift stores and usually for a song so why not buy at least a few pieces to try. Or if you happen to have some vintage china boxed away, bring it out and use it;)
Try using a couple of different patterns and layer them on top of each other. A pattern like the green floral design, plus plain white and clear glass plates makes for a trio of fun.
