Farmhouse Table Love

I’ve always had a special love for a good sturdy farmhouse table. The original ones with honest-as-found paint and patina are getting harder to find. Usually rectangular in shape, they graced many kitchens and were perfect for families and gatherings. Because of their popularity, farmhouse tables can range in price from a few hundred dollars to thousands. Trust me, if you find one buy it!

They are especially fun to decorate. Use a wooden flat box or dough bowl and place bittersweet, gourds and pumpkins for a festive Fall look.
